l’observatoire lavau-sur-loire

document of our visit to lavau-sur-loire, france, on 19th september 2012. japanese artist, tadashi kawamata, has installed a piece as part of the estuaire nantes to saint-nazaire art trail, entitled l'observatoire. it requires a walk along a low-level boardwalk through fields of reeds to a wooden observation tower, with interesting views across the surrounding countryside.

as well as the views and panoramas, we manage to capture each other recording the experience.

i like the differing video and sound quality between my lumix camera and sally's iphone 4g, the sounds of footsteps and the wind in the reeds, and the spot in the centre of my lens, most visible when using the zoom!
